I know it is harder identifying babies, but here goes. This baby bug was found in Central Kentucky. This picture was taken shortly after the insect had hatched, along with about fifty others from white eggs on the back of a tree leaf.

Cute isn't it. Any ideas?

Definitely not a beetle. It is a tru bug nymph, but beyond that, little chance of an Ident.

Ticks often do have 6 legs at birth but this is not a tick, true Pentatomid nymph for sure,

Googled "stink bug nymph" images, and it is a definite on the Pentatomid.

Blazetown's second reply right after the tick post admitted his misidentification of tick. It does look like a beetle though. :) Those were actually the first things I looked for, but found that the young are larvae.

What a nice resource you guys are. Thank you so much!
