Insect ID.....Ant or termite?

Anyone have any idea what these may be? I had an explosion of them in my sunroom (literally crawling everywhere) with the warm weather and am just praying they aren't termites. Location is Albany, New York..... Thanks much!

Those are ants. Not sure the genus & species, but those are definitely ants. Had them wreak havoc on a property I had on Lake Ontario (Buffalo/Niagara region myself)...
