naw, i keep atleast 2crickets and 2mealworms in the cage at all time and there rather friendly to one another, the little one uses the big one as a ladder sometimes and she doesnt seem to mind

In all seriousness, I've heard of people letting mantids run loose in-doors with no problems but I wouldn't recommend it with cats.
