Does anyone have an image of the eggs from Carausius Morosus, aka the Indian/Laboratory Stick Insect? Or can anyone describe what they look like? I've got a few adults, but am having trouble differentiating between frass and eggs (I got them as adults, so I'm not sure what the eggs look like).
Thanks in advance.

They are pretty easy to spot. They are a chocolate brown color and perfectly round, however they have a little yellow knob on one side. When hatching the knob breaks off and out comes the nymph. They almost look like this: Oo Well, sort of.

I've kept Indian Stick Insects since I was about six and I used to seperate out the eggs, keep them on damp tissue and keep them warm like I read. But it's really not necessary, all I do now when I want more young is leave the cleaning for a fortnight, then take everything out of the bottom of the cage and put it in an old, clean ice cream tub. Write a date on the lid and keep it near the cage. The results speak for themselves:

(sorry for the poor picture quality, it's a phone camera)
