Personally, I take no pleasure in waiting for something to die - this is a little too morbid for me. I do appreciate my spiders gaining a bit of wait however... But certainly not with pinkies - especially considering that pinkies are never part of their diets in the wild! I seriously question the nutrient value to pinkies... putting on weight does not automatically give you a healthy spider.

This subject has been hashed time and again on this forum...

Pinkies no, small vertabrates, yes. So it is close enough. No Ts I have would ever eat a cricket in the wild, but thats all they get.

Small vertebrates yes, but rodents no... more like reptiles and amphibians. Also, common grey or black crickets (or similar variants) occur all the way down to South America.

I seldom offer rodents to my T's because i doubt if there is any extra nutritional value in them. I rather get something bigger (let's say rabbit size) and feed them to my Burmese python :D No harm in giving them to your T though, just of little use imho.

Nice Ornemental by the way, hope she enjoyed her pinky fest.
