I alway just called these Wolf spiders but don't actually know the true name. Very common I know, they are all around my house in the grass right next to the brick. Found about a 1/2 dz females with egg sacks a few days ago. He was on his back at first & I thought he was injured & when I touched him to turn him over-he pounced.:? -Not injured, good jumper!
