Has anyone any experience/knowledge on how one would go about bringing snakes from China-US? It seems irregardless of my use for them I will need to obtain and import license.

Is this even worth doing as an individual?

Depends on the status level of the animal. Some species will require a permit that it will be strictly used for education/science. I suggest you give U.S. Fish and Wildlife a call.

its usually better to piggy back with someone who is already importing from that area. it can get really expensive. that is what the carpet python guys do with europe importing.

Check your state laws. You would definitely need a liscence to import wild life from another country. What are you going to import anyways? whatever it is make sure you contact your local fish and wildlife regulation center and ask them.

Make sure you are ready to get CITES permits as well. You might need them.
Is it even "possible" to get those? as well as how simple it is to get all these permits? I was wondering myself if I can get permits to possibly buy some "leaf-cutter" ants from that european or british antstore. The one that sells queens. I'd love to get my hand on a queen.
or something along the lines.
