So I recently got a regal jumper and for the first week she ate normaly and drank her water but the past week she has made a very thick hammock and has not come out for food or water she seems stressed and jumps if she sees me walk into the room she is a year old and I know it can take longer to moult as they get older and she could just be gearing up to moult but I am worried that she is getting stressed

Show me the enclosure.

Do you provide her with anything to hide in?

Normally they find a dark corner to web up when molting and will refuse to eat beforehand. But if you don't provide anything they will still make a hammock and try in the open.

It's possible she is stressed, but your interference is only gonna stress her out more. Try shading her view from stimuli and see if that doesn't help her settle in.

Btw she can see like 10 feet, so if she's in view of a lot of foot traffic and has no hide, that could be why she's not happy.

Do not allow the enclosure to receive direct sunlight, you will create the same greenhouse effect as if you locked a dog or small child in your car.

Do you provide a source of water? Are her feeders roughly the same size as her abdomen? (not too big)

Sounds like she might just be settling in finally. Some of them take longer than others. Some will get comfortable in a few hours, some take weeks to settle down. I think if you just give her some time to get used to it you'll see a change in her behavior.

Nice! She's very pretty. You provide her with a source of water, like a bottle cap or a dish, right?

That's fine. It also provides ambient humidity as it evaporates to help your spider stay comfortable.
