I was just at Ikea, and picked up one of these: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/90066708 to try out as an enclosure. I was a little concerned that the thick, hard plastic wouldn't melt nicely to make ventilation holes, so I just got one as a start, but the holes went great and I'll definitely be getting more.

I got the 44 oz, and it's a nice in-between size and shape for arborials that have outgrown their sling containers but don't need something huge.

I know that a lot of people use similarly shaped containers for their arborials, but the ones I've seen before are made of a kind of milky translucent plastic that doesn't offer the best visibility. These are crystal clear, with very little distortion, which I like a lot better. I also like that the whole lid comes off for rehousing and maintenance, but that there's a little hatch in the lid that's perfect for feeding.

Anyway, I'm pretty happy with it, and at $3 it's hard to go wrong.

I started using these just over a year ago for my Avic juvies. They are strong and sturdy and easily cleaned. Even better is the fact that they are totally clear so I can see my babies better.

They arent good for the larger sub adult/adult arboreals but excellent for larger slings and juvies.
