I can't seem to find the species of this garter snake that I'm getting. He's got the stripes like a garter but he's got a humongous head with a red nose. His belly is striped with black and white. I can't get pics right now but does anyone know what that sounds like off the top of their head?

i know nothing other than it's a type of garter. Probably a North American species.

EDIT: Ah! Found it! It's an Indonesian garter. I'm unable to find the scientific name however.

Natrix or (Xenochrophis) vittata not 100% sure but i think this is the same species. they are semi-aquatic aka Striped Keelback: inhabits moist, lowland agricultural areas, gardens, leafy suburbs. Diurnal, often active in morning, feeds mainly on frogs and fishes. Terrestrial in habit, but sometimes may climb low shrubs.
