Identifying a Spider

I live in southern Ontario, Canada. Yesterday I saw a spider, which was black, lanky, had a white spot on its abdomen and very fast. About 1 inch from tip to toe. I'm sorry I couldnt get any pictures, but could any of these features give you an idea of what kind of spider it is?

It was probably a Steatoda sp.

S. grossa is the most likely.

Sorry guys, although I have seen those guys around, that wasnt him =P. Ill google around, we'll see if I can find him!

I have found the culprit! Parson Spider is the name. What do you guys know of these little fellas?

Probably much like a sac spider ..ground/structure hunter, no hunting web and the only webbing will be sac like ..during molting and whatnot.
