Identification! What is this neat looking bug??

Found it on my blinds, its a little smaller then the size of a fly or so. Neat looking, has sticky "pads", can hold on well. Anyone know what it is??

That's a tortoise beetle (Deloyala sp.).

Awesome find! I've never seen these in person.

Thanks for the help with identification, I havent ever seen them before either! Wonder if I brought it home from our Ohio trip last week? Wonder if I should let it go in the yard?! I hate to keep it as I have no idea how to care for it, nor do I have others to make a colony! Plus I am not really an insect hobbyist/collector. Only insects I keep are for feeding reptiles! Hmm...

Any ideas?

Ive read them being called "turtle beetles" or "tortise beetles" nice find!
