ID this weard bug

i found it scampering across the driveway after washing my car. Probably at least 2in big, what is it?

really, ive never seen one. WHen i 1st saw it i thought it was a centipede but it looked so weard and moved weard compared to most centipedes ive seen. thanks

if you hold on abit longer one of the myriapod whizzes will give you the species name

scutigramorpha to be exact. They are harmless, i catch them sometimes.

Yuck, those creepy things are all over my basement. They give me chills. My grandma calls them "thousand-leggers."

I think these even look friendlier than normal centipedes, These things actually look like they have eyes.

I saw one trapped in my bathtub and it was eating a large house spider. It ate almost the entire thing- some of the legs got left behind.

I had one in a jar and it ate a moth, I tried to feed it more but it refused and acted like it wanted out. I let him go. (right back into the House!;) )

if u look close though, its mandibles are very similar too more venomous species. I think thats neat lol.

I kept one for about a year before it finally died. It even shed in my care. It could take down some pretty big crickets!!
They're pretty facinating critters.
