From that pic its almost impossible. Only someone that has one that looks similar will be able to answer.

Colour is a very difficult thing to use to identify a snake, since same species may look different in other areas.

Based on the type of scales(smooth, small), the high irridesence, and the visable pattern, I'm gonna go with Randolph #20's guess-Boelen's Python.

Every Diamond Python I've seen, including those produced by top breeders here in the US, has a lot "busier" pattern than the snake shown above, like this one: http://www.priceanimal.com/r0300599.jpg
Compare a close-up of her scales and pattern, and there's a lot of difference.

lol think what you want but that is 100% diamond, and in aus there are diamonds that are almost black in colouration.

WOW, that's amazing how some of you can identifiy the species just from that tiny picture! :eek:
