I was thinking centruroides nigrescens but I don't know their locality.

Check out the Telson guys.. thats not a centruroides.. the stinger is way to short for that..

Most male Centruroides have an elongated telson like an oval.

I agree it's probably Tityus sp of some sort just from the look, seems like it's north from where I'd expect Tityus. Maybe Dave or someone will gives us a better answer.

Its not a Tityus, its a Centruroides spp, possibly a gracilis

also agree its a centruoides,doesn't look like my male gracilis though,much more elongated.

gracilis is the only centruroides possible for it to be if you found it in the yucatan.

specimens of the same species can display different physical traits, especially when separated by huge distances. most the gracilis you have seen likely came from Florida. so it is very plausible that the ones from the Yucatan would look a little different.

thats also why pics are hard to %100 ID something by. :)

Not his scorpion...sorry Ryan but I'm going to Durango this winter so you should be hooking ME up. LOL. Anyways I believe that there is 1 species of tytius in Mexico. But still think it's Centroide. I don't think it's C. gracilis though Yucatan has much more variety.
