I live in Virginia near D.C. I saw this bug on my porch. Not sure what it is.

Leaf-fotted bug, possibly a Leptoglossus sp.

My guess would be: Eastern Leaf-footed Bug - Leptoglossus phyllopus or a Squash Bug, feeds on plant matter I think. Oops Wade beat me to it...
