I caught a jumping spider yesterday and though "Well, this guy is pretty." So i decide to keep it as a pet.
I was looking for an ID
I found it out front under a big plastic plant pot, it was encased in webbing so i couldn't see it it was ripped out when I removed the pot searching for isopods, BTW I didn't know he was there until I moved it.
I live in Greenwood, Indiana.
It was mixed between gravel under the pot. Semi moist ground.
I removed it and placed it into one of my empty cup delis from one of my B. jacksoni since I moved them to a communal experiment.
Here is a crappyish photo it's just so small, I think it was in the webbing for a molt? I'm not worth much for spider knowledge. It has started a new one in the deli.
Wanting to know what to feed it, temps, humidity, ect...
I know it might not be able to ID to species but maybe genus.
This is a large picture so you can see it well. It has a nice neon orange pattern on its abdomen, and neon green fuzzy fangs which you can kinda see.
