This is not a wasp, it is a fly. But what species?

Without significant antenna it appears to be in the diptera family. But the wings are the wrong.shape. I'm waiting for others to chime in here.

It looks like a Chalcosyrphus of some sort. Very cool looking fly!

No antennae and those big legs? They could be a Bibio marci, especially with the dark coloration.
