ID of this insect??

I'm not sure what this is. I took a picture of this insect in Coraopolis PA right outside my work. I thought it was a spider but others were saying it was a cricket. I've never seen a red cricket with what appears to be a black spot on it's abdomen.

Any ideas???

definitely a cricket of some kind. pic's a little blurry though:(

Yeah I appologize. My iphone can't do much better lol. I was under the assumption there was only one type of red cricket and it's much larger and looks nothing like that of the average cricket.

it kind of looks like a camel cricket but i'm not sure if you have them over there

I looked up pictures of them and none of them seemed to resemble it. It's body layed flat against the surface like a spider's would and other than the red body, It's abdomen had that black spot on it. Also you could get really close to it without it moving.

it kind of looks like the carolina leaf-rollar Camptonotus carolinensis after I looked around on whatsthatbug for it. :) but thats just my opinion, and I am no expert.
