ive seen a couple of slings in my atic before, they are definetly arboreal.

You can't rely on the number of legs to ID dogspiders. Always start with eye placement. ;)

Eye placement is good, but there can be birth defects that can screw with that. Plus, the eye placement and coloration may be slightly different between subspecies.

I personally look at the vertically aligned chelicera for the proper ID.
