It was sold like Hypoctonus rangunesis... so it is that correct? Whats the maximum length? Care? Will the tail regenerate again? It is 3'5-4 cm long.

if this species is from the Malaysia, they are all (maybe not all, but the most of it) Thelyphonus sp. and NOT Hypoctonus rangunesis.

to id from your pix it is very difficult, make clear pix of pedipals male/female and the "stigmas" at the base of the "tail"- they had t be 0 - 2 - 4 .. and then we can speak about ID.

Hi!

As Michael told You this species have nothing similar with any of the Hypoctonus spp.
And it is true.

The species You have is seems so the adult, it is not big species.
And as for the regrawing of the flagellum - yes, it is regenerate after several molts, which You can wait for years :)
