Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The first caterpillar almost looks like a banded tassock moth caterpillar, but without the long projecting hairs. I am really no expert, so if any of these photos are not good enough for a positive ID, please forgive me. I don't necessarily need the species names, but anything more specific than Order would be greatly appreciated- I am especially curious about the little wingless green insect, the black, slender mosquito-like insect, and what kind of bug might be responsible for the growths in the oak leaves in the 7th picture.
Note: All photos were taken on the Island of Montreal, between September-October.
Thanks
