ID help, This may be a tough one

Only tough because of the quality of my images.

These were found in a pool i created in my yard this year. It filled with rainwater, and since there are no fish, I imagine this is some kind of dragonfly larvae or something. Of course that was my first deduction when I found fairy shrimp too, lol.

These pics were taken with my toy usb microscope, so the quality isnt so great.

This first pic is the best looking pic, but he was moving so much, I reduced the water for the other pics, and he looks a lot different in them.

I would say he is about 5 mm long.

He moves through the water by whirling both his head and tail so he looks kinda like the letter V spinning. I also see them standing upright on the moss at the bottom of my tank.

I scooped some moss from my pool and put in my triops tank, he likes to eat it.

It's a Dipteran larvae, family Chironomidae. Keep 'em coming, I love larvae!

and for those without a degree in entomology, it's a non-biting midge.
