From size alone, I'd have to agree female. These stay ridiculously tiny for avics.

You know what's crazy? I left the house for 3 or so hours today. I rehoused it 30 or min before leaving the house. I came back and she molted. I saw the molt in the waterdish and thought, dang what happened? Looked a bit closer and I see her behind the leaf. I wanted to give her a bit of privacy. Im treating this T like a faberge egg 😆. Ive never had a T molt that quick in my life.

My friend gifted me a Minatrix when I came to my hometown. I'm new to avics and I have to say, this tarantula is stunning. He told me it's a female, so fingers crossed on that. But nonetheless, i'm happy to have the little dude either way. Awesome gift
Awesome, they look really cool

I like the pattern on the abdomen. Still no avics in my collection. I've kept versis before but found them to be fairly fragile. Lost some as fairly young slings

Versi are the easiest to raise, largely because they have excellent feeding responses! Avics in general are easy once their conditions are dialed in, which doesn’t take any guesswork as so many of us raise and breed them.

Give it another go! Get a setup, research, drop pics for input, get T.

@Requiem4aSpleen - they are not

If versi are the easiest there is no hope for me and avics 🤣

I also wish versi stayed the same blue color as adults. They look so much cooler as babies imo
