I have a T but recently i have been looking at lizards and geckos and figured out that i would like one so are there any ideas on good pets it doesnt have to be a begining species. I would like it to get a decent size as well as do they have an odor im guessing no as long as you keep thier tanks clean. My sister has a bearded dragon and hers is pretty sweet its almost sunkist orange we brought it from a reptile convention and we got it as a baby for a low price because it was missing a piece of its tail but i would like something different.

There are a few monitor species such as mangrove and water monitors that aren't too bad to deal with.

how about a blue tongue skink? they get to impressive sizes, very easy to care for, have lots of personality, they get dog tame, omnivores..........I had one that loved snails!

Look at ackies.
I agree, ackies are hands down the best pet lizards in my opinion in terms of ease of care, handling and personality.

May I suggest a very simple pet......

They like it dark, cold (65-75 degrees) and moist. The eat crickets. They are fairly small cloe to 6" and can fit into a 10 Gallon most of their lives. They are also communial if you buy more than one.

They also can vocalize. They make these chirps and squeaks.

Red Eyed Croc Skink (T. gracilis)
