It seems I can count my losses now..
My N. coloratovillosus escaped yesterday and I was really bummed about that. I had to go out to a function so didn't have much time to look...couldn't find it, but figured I'd resume the search once I got home.
Then when I get home, the first thing I see is my T. right out in the open!
I was so relieved.
It ate a cricket last night also.
Then this morning, I noticed its abdomen looked weird. It looked shrivelled up or squished. I didn't notice this last night, but maybe there were injuries at that time that just progressed overnight?
Anyways, it's in an icu, just in case it's dehydrated, but I don't think that's the case. Considering it escaped, it probably had a fall and suffered internal inuries.
I think it's pretty much gone now. This is my first T. death.
