HA I have to laugh b/c I was the biggest cat hater for years. I'm alergic to them and I was just annoyed by them. A few years ago we had this stray that would come around. We would leave food outside and it started coming around more often. Slowly but surely she even came into the house and figured out how to use the dog door (quicker than the dog might I add). The strangest thing was I wasnt alergic to her and I have to admit I fell in love. So looking at the picture I have to say how can you hate on something that cute...you'll fall in love in no time. goodluck with it!

Very cute Mike! Is it a little boy or a little girl?

Hah congrats on the new addition Mike! Make sure you get him neutered or he will mark his territory all over the house. You will learn to love the little fellow over time.

Oh he's soo cute! We just got a new kitten too, for the kids, and I am deeply in love. Used to be a dog person who tolerates cats. But our new little kitten has made me cat obsessed now :) Good luck!!

Cute one... I've been thinking for a long time if I should get another one, but thinking of all the poor T's and snakes that would have the cat excited I decided against it (and that will only change when I've built up the super tight electric fence arround all tanks ;))

I've had lizards and stuff with cats around, never caused a problem for me, just make sure the cover is on tight, and that the tank cant be knocked over.
Oh and no hagning cords (but thats mostly for kittens)

wait a minute, people....I see advice being given on cat-proofing a home. You see, this is not possible. You may think it is, but you haven't met my cats. :wall:

Arm yourself with a spray bottle. When he starts making wild eyes at the other critters, shoot him! It'll make you feel better, won't hurt the cat, and it'll curb bad behavior. Don't let him see you do it or he'll just wait until you're not around. ;)

There are a variety of top-notch tattoo parlours in Montreal ... as well as some pretty poor ones. The choice is yours.

Cheers,
Dave

Gonna stick with the ONE tattoo for now... thanks ;P

Hmmmmm squirt bottle   I forgot about behavior modification techniques... My wife wouldn't let me use a spray bottle on the kids.. but the cat is fair game :worship:

Nah, not "sucker" Mike..."Simply Dad". And hey, you got some male camaraderie now. You will develop a soft spot for him, and likely rescue him from your daughters' accidental rough housing. Then he will identify with YOU only and knead into your chest ripping hairs out one by one while purring and drooling. It'll be great, really.{D

nice looking kitten mike. yea i was never a big cat fan either. my parents didn't like them so we never had one growing up...then i had some roommates that had one each and since then i have thought of getting one. i just want to wait till i have a seperate room for all my caged roommates.
