I really screwed up.

I put my degus in my T room lastnight because it was lower 60's in the rest of the house. Well, fastforward to this evening and I check on them and they both died. :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:
They were curled up together. I knew something was wrong when I opened the curtain..I could smell it.

I just didn't think of taking them out before I left this morning.

I'm such a damn idiot.

I'm sorry you had to suffer Bass & Treble.

I mourn for your loss. It reminds me of a story:

I bought 20+ Avic. purpurea slings 3 different bloodlines for a breeding project. The room I was keeping them in the back up space heater broke because the heat in my house was down for 2-3 days. The temperature dropped to 40 degrees (F) while I was sleeping. Having a back up space heater in each room I didn't realize that not all them where working. I went into the room I was keeping them in to find all of them in the death curl and dead.

So I feel your pain and frustration.
