i'm thinking of getting a whipscorpion and i have no real idea of how to set up a tank for one.

i have a 10 gallon tank, and i know it needs to be vertical...but what should i do to keep dirt from falling out... also what should i use for it to climb on...i know cork bark but they only sell cork bark in like 10" by 4" pieces and they are $8 and i definately don't want to spend $24 on bark....

any suggestions would be more than appreciated...

also should i have plants/water dish????

oh btw, how much and how often should i feed?

try thecorkstore.com for your cork bark needs, i still have a lot left over from my last purchase. 1lb of cork is a lot
i guess you could use one of those tops that flip in the middle, tape it on the bottom well and then ceran (sp?) wrap it so no dirt leaks out.

The tank dosn't need to be vertical, unless you really want it to be. It'll be alot easier in the standard orientation! Most do favor a higher-humidity enviroment, so covering a screen lid with some sort of plastic is still a good idea.

These guys like to hide between crevices. I like to provide them with stacked pieces of cork so they can hide in the spaces between.
