So recently I got a regal jumping spider from a breeder. She laid and egg sac and I’m not sure how to remove it without causing issues with my female. She is very friendly but I don’t know how to take her eggs. I’ve researched alot and I’m still not confident on how to take them. I didn’t plan on breeding her but now I will let the baby’s hatch. Only problem is they are in a enclosure not suitable for babies
Any tips? Thanks in advance

Could it be possible that the eggs are unfertilized?

Can you put her enclosure inside a larger baby proof enclosure? That's what I did with my N incei because I didn't want to disturb her while she was guarding her eggs.

Well that’s what I thought too but I have no clue what to put her enclosure in without harming the baby’s if they escape. I want this to go as safe as possible.

Could be but I’m not sure how to tell. She’s wrapped around the sac not wanting to get off of it. And it’s a very large sac. The eggs inside are a light yellow.

If you can get a mesh fabric to put over the top of the enclosure either under the lid or secured over the top that's an option, it'd prob be safer under the lid though. Or if she laid them under a hide you can move the hide to a more suited enclosure.

Hope this helps!

Is there a way for you to contact the breeder and ask if there's a possibility that the eggs are fertilized? I think that would be the only way to figure it out.
Spiders will occasionally lay phantom sacs (my mature female P regius has done it twice).

Well I thought I that too. But she said she’s not sure which female I ended up with. She had one escape and she doesn’t know if that was my female. So there’s a 50/50 chance she was

She just laid them in the top corner. It’s a side opening enclosure with holes everywhere. I figured the same thing but I can’t seem to find something large enough and with small enough holes the enclosure is pretty large. That’s why I was thinking about just removing the eggs. But like I said before I don’t want to harm them and I’ve never done this before

If she has molted since you've had her and you didn't pair her it will be infertile. If she hasn't molted in your care you will just have to wait and see if the eggs develop. You should be able to cover pretty much any enclosure with super fine mesh to keep in babies. I've heard something like panty hose works well.
