At least in terms of furnishing snake tanks! I fed my juvenile corn Saturday and happened to leave the tank wide open for two whole days!!!! :eek: And it didn't go outside and nothing, it just stayed in there!!

Oh my...

This could have gone bad. I think it's time I consider giving up on snakes if I'm starting to make such mistakes! Luckily I only have corns but I swore to myself to always, ALWAYS be 200% extra careful with all my animals. I should have closed the tank and bought a lottery ticket instead... then I could have been a millionaire by now.

I think next time I have her/him out I need to give him/her an extra good snuggle and give thanks she/he didn't dash.

Maybe the snake didnt leave the tank because usually after snakes eat they choose not to roam and just go into hiding until the food digests all the way? lol...

Cirith, If you don't heat your corns, how can you put your shoes on to walk around?????? ;P

I don't heat my critters either. I keep them at room temp. Out here in the desert, it stays pretty much the same temp indoors with the ac and heating. All of them are doing well and feeding normally :}
