My heart does still work very efficiently. I feel like i just swallowed a handful of speed or something, i was feeding my Cyriopagopus sp. "blue" sub adult and like usual she just hangs out in her fake plant and substrate covered clump of web in the corner and never comes out, i really never see her, half the time i havent even claimed her because i thought she might be dead lol. Anyways, opened up the cage... started pulling some remains out... and turned around for a minute.... went to get back in the cage and WAM out she comes and she was PISSED! I have never seen this species so damn mad before! It was like OBT/H.lividum/Poecilotheria on CRACK! I mean she just went completely psycho and let me know she really did not want to be bothered. Needless to say i left her alone lol. But man, does that ever get the heart thumpin haha... and oh yea... although this species appears to move slow, they CAN teleport, maybe even give P. murinus a run for its money. I would compare speed to H. maculata, and thats saying something!

Sounds rather "exciting"...

I don't know...some of the Cyriopagopus specimens I've seen, while a bit slow as you described its "up to this date" movements, have been quite "defensive"...open the lid and the spider is READY TO HAVE AT YOU!!!!!

Not even my Haplopelma lividum has done something like that!

Good thing you were "away" only a moment!
