I just got the COOLEST gig!

Terri's Tarantulas will be presenting at the Southern California Fair (formerly known as the Farmer's Fair and Festival) at the Lake Perris Fairgrounds in Perris, California on October 14th, 15th and 16th. There will be two 1/2 hour presentations at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

And.... there will be 6,000 K-6th grade children EACH DAY... I will be reaching 18,000 children with the message that Ts are NOT like what they saw in "Arachnophobia!"

Oh Lordy, I thought 90 kids at the public library was going to be a lot!

Brush up those urticating hairs, girls, we're going to the FAIR!!!!

Perris is about 15 miles Southeast of Riverside. It is also the location of Lake Perris State Recreation Area, they have a site on the web, check it out:

However, you NEVER want to swim or water ski there, the fecal and urine levels are VERY high this time of year!

Cool, I go to perris every weeken. In parrris lake, you find interesting invertebrets, lot's of widows(different species) and scorpions, I'm guessing there's Ts also, saw lots of borrows with webbing, but they looked abandoned. Cool, I might just drop in and say high Terri.=D
