The mods will move this where it should have been posted.

Until then; what kind of light did you provide? full spectrum ? ?
We raised our beardie from hatching...... They are really very forgiving pets if the basic requirements are met. The basics aren't always apparent, though.....:embarrassed:
We would have killed ours if it hadn't been for a knowledgeable friend (Guy D.)... Baby Huey is more than 3 yrs old now.
So sorry about your loss.....:( :( :(

I am so sorry to hear this!

What are signs of one having an impaction?

I would ask a local vet for tips on lighting. They are usually happy to help right over the phone.
Beardies need a full spectrum UVA/UVB light and a basking light.
Metabolic bone disorder will follow if not provided. This is usually irreversible.
Dark greens, fruits and suitable bugs are needed daily, as well.
Good luck and I hope you try again..:)

well...he was sitting there with his leg in the air...next thing he started pushing his legs back and you could see where he was trying to poop....it was a buldge under him....and he was walking weird...stiff legged....but he did soon pass pooh....after a few hard days work of pushing and a few good warm baths from me and its owner KK
