I have been lucky enough to see my mantid moult!

It's half way there, so should't be long now!

By the look of it, this is it's 3rd moult, the first time it's moulted in my posession......

Nice video, how long did it take for the mantid to molt?

Moving and streching to initially break the skin took 2 - 3 hours, during this time it could defend its self and another 40 minutes to slide out of it's skin from start to finish. That video is 20 mins long and caught most of the movement....

Try and catch the final molt, its pretty amazing when it properly forms the wings
