I get the willies when i even see a pic of a "true spider", i dont get it i love tarantulas but not the spiders with thin legs. they freak me out sooo much :8o maybe if you guys could post pics of spiders that are long thin legged speices heheh.

I used to be the same way, but I gradually got over it through contact with my tarantulas. Now, I can enjoy photographing "true" spiders and can even handle some, like Kukulcania hibernalis, quite comfortably. I'm the same way. Tarantulas are fuzzy and stocky and don't look as threatening as the long-thin legged spiders. Makes perfect sense, eh? 
I have a Fishing spider that gives me the willies, but I don't handle her as she readily bites anything that might be food. I just enjoy watching her, no real desire to handle her anyway.
