so on Monday, i ordered a C. schioedtei from Ken. i was pretty anxious today since i had classes in the morning and afternoon, but it came just a few minutes ago.

thanks! i'm still waiting for her to move out of the vial, but i understand she'd be shook up after a trip through UPS. sorry, but for the 33 dollars next-day shipping was, i could have bought a second tarantula.

coincidentally, i was at the store yesterday. there was a tarantula, actually two of them, that i couldn't get a good look at besides the front legs on one, which were rather fluffy-looking compared to some other terrestrial baboons i've seen. they were labeled as "Mozambique Baboon" and were priced at $100. i'll have to ask to take a peek at one next time i'm there, but i think i stumbled across some Augacephalus. that's going on my list.

her butt's a little deflated, but i saw her munching on a cricket and she has fresh water.
