Today i was trying to clean off some of the mites from my male milli, cuz he got too many around his little head, and as i was cleaning him, i accidentally dropped him on the wooden floor. Like 3,5 feet or so. He curled up and had a little brown liquid coming out of his butt. I put him back in the terrarium and after a minute he started moving again but really slowly. There are no visible cracks on him besides his last little butt segment, withc has a small crack, but it not open and nothing is coming out. Will he make it? I really love him and i dont wanna loose him, im really scared :((

Btw Im new here, i got my pedes a couple month ago, they werr doing great, both of them are actuve, eating and in good condition

Prepare yourself for the inevitable. It might die.

it might go in a molt to fix things…

but yeah, it could die too.

no idea, but take it as a lesson to work over a desk or seated down on the floor rather than risk a fall... not good

Safest place to handle them is over a pillow or bed. But certainly not a hardwood floor . I would had just done it In the enclosure .
Good chance it dies or molts soon to repair itself . Fingers crossed. 🤞

He started cleaning himself and wating, also mobing a but faster now, i dont know if its too early to get hope but he seem luke he is doing fine. And yeah it was my fault for not being careful, i honestly didnt think the cleaning would take more than half a minute so i didnt set up anything, but next time im gonnabe extra careful

Anything new? Something similar happened to my milli girl. And I'm just really nervous I've made a post about it too. If anyone could give me any advice as well.

I thought they had strong armor.

She did fall on concrete, but I couldn't get any good pictures. Her bottom half is barely moving, she lost a lot of fluids but it did stop. Her top half is still moving around, as about 2 hours have gone by her bottom half has started moving a little bit more. But mostly not moving still. It's almost like her entire backend split. Do you think she would be able to molt it off?

Update on mine: he has been drinking and moving as normal , every part of him is moving, he is being curious again, and he is cleaning himself like he is a cat. Doesnt seem to be in distress at all

Stop handling your exotics- esp over concrete!!!!! That’s not smart.
