I destroyed my Jumping Spider's web, twice.

So this week, I took one my jumpers out once just to play. One to feed and mist, both times I've broken it's web (I use a side door but it's web it's attached to the hinge) I try my best not to break it but always does when it opens.
My bad for assuming, but I wouldn't think these lil guys would remember their web placement. I wiped the broken one away while it jumped around on my hands.
Put it back in and was like, "???" And started to build at the same spot tonight. Couldn't help but to feel a bit bad... I'll do my very best not to break it when I need to open it. Is there a way to discourage it from building there?
Anyway, just wanted to share an experience with y'all.

That's why I started sticking a sling pot to the side of the enclosures up high. They webbed/moulted lived inside them.

Oh!! Great idea, I'm subscribed to you on YouTube and didn't catch this one. Thanks for the link, I'll try something similar

It's a really old vid. I haven't kept jumpers for years. It does work a treat though.
