That's really cute! My bunny freaks when I bring crickets home, but if one gets loose, she'll chase it and try to play with it. Vertebrates are funny.

A dog I had years ago that was such a cricket chaser that I used to occasionally let one go for him. 120 lb. dog, never smashed a single one, just followed it around until it got to somewhere he couldn't reach.

I stuff my cat into the batheroom when I bring out the crickets. otherwise I"ll have a very excited cat trying to pounce on them. If I get some in to the bag so I can dust them for my geckos, she'll squash the ones in the bag. However, if there's one loose, she doesn't seem to kill it.
