Perhaps nothing too special, but i have been trying to photograph these for a while now when i am out...but they add a while knew meaning to the word FAST!

I know, not the best focused pic, but hey, its the only one i managed to snap before it ran off. and i was a good 2+ meters away :eek:

pretty big....a wild guess would be about 4cm leg span? about the diameter of 2 canadian loonies i would say lol. i find quite a few, but always in dark situations...and they are very very fast...which makes picture taking hard :( even this picture is blurry, but its the best i got from 2 years of finding these guys hehe.

got any links for identifying heteropoda? i would love some diagrams to follow. i agree it looks like heteropoda venatoria, but i always like a good reference to back up things.
