Its probably the angle. I didn't see them myself.
I had a thread some time ago on this one... had quite a few "guaranteed female" responses, as well as guaranteed male as well. When she/he hardens up a bit I'll get more better pics, no hurry at the moment.

Gloves............that is just a slang term.

But we were talking about the emboli which are the MM's sexual organs located at the end of the palps that are used to store sperm store sperm.

You can kind of see the bulb under/to the side of on of the palps. *sighs*
