Hurt Toes?

I have my 2 juv. red ackies. over the past few days ive noticed there front toes look darker and injured. any ideas wut this is and what caused it. and is there anything i can do do fix it. i have a local vet that does reptiles but i dont wanna go unless completly nessicary.

do you have a picture of their toes?

there are many possible causes.

-shed residue killing toes
-substrate staining toes
-burns
-temperature
-etc...

i can try and get sum pix i think the shedding thing. cuz they were my wife's lizards and i told her to give them a bathtub full of warm water to help with the shedding. but apparently she didnt. so is there anything i can do to help them. or wut.
