Hi everyone,
So I am an experienced breeder when it comes to Ts with many sacs under my belt (arboreal and Terrestrial) but my experience with Huntsman spiders is zilch!

My David bowie huntsman has recently produced a sac and seems to be doing a great job of looking after it.

Thanks to some preliminary investigations from @Charliemum I already know to pull at approx 25 days as any later than that expect lighting speed tiny dots running everywhere!

Also that a good number can be kept in mesh topped tubs for a while (with ample food).

I have all the necessary sling pots to keep them in, also have an electric incubator that I use for my Ts so can finish the incubation if I do pull early etc, so I hope I am as prepared as I can be for my first huntsman clutch of babies.

But is there any other guidance other breeders of this species can share?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Here is a pic of her, with sac

Expect a lot of cannibalism if they don't get a chance to widely disperse which is the norm. They are capable predators right out of the box but finding appropriate sized food quickly reduces their numbers in environments that aren't bio hyperactive detritus. - their native habitat.

Normal spiderling (Venatoria) dispersal immediately after leaving the egg sac. The mom quits feeding during the gestation period and doesn't restart for several days after the hatching. ... obviously, her mouth is full of egg sac. Chelicera utilized to carry the sac.
