Is there a way to tell if your T is hungry? I am not talking about a 100% sure way to tell, but any sign that suggest they might be. The reason is my Ts never touch crickets that I feed them and I am only feeding like 2 each week.

My ts usually start baning the knife and fork on the dinner table when they are hungry.

Anyways, what size of ts are you talking about and what kind?

What type of T's are you refering to, terestrials or arboreals.

I have noticed with my Avics that they will hang out closer to the substrate if they haven't eaten in a few days. Usually they hang out higher up or in their webs, but if its been a few days, they go out further to "hunt".

i haven't noticed much difference with my terrestrial t's but with my avic's it's easy to tell when they are hungry, they like to hang just outside the openning of their web's

Most of my terestrial T's will come out of their hides or burrows when they are hungry. My curly hair for instance will come out and sit in the middle of her tank and just wait there until I toss her something. But then she's ALWAYS hungry! Since her last molt she's eaten like 5 lizards!! It's only been about 2 months or so since that molt by the way!! My A.seemani on the other hand is a stubborn cuss and usually will slap at the crix or walk away from them rather than eat them. She seems healthy in all other respects though.

I'm happy to say that my T's have not refused food except in premolt situations, I feed approx 2 times a week.
