I'm looking to get a regal jumper eventually and i know they need a certain humidity level, how can i make sure it's getting that humidty it needs? Would it be good to get a hygrometer? If so then what one would be good to get?

i do reccomend temp and humidity gages for tropical species. you can get these reasonably, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08PVQBVCT/ref=sspa_dk_detail_8?

for regius i reccomend 70% humidity at the lowest, 80% or higher when molting. but do be careful not to get condensation in huge drops on the glass, youll want to make sure you have good ventilation and theres no waterdrops big enough to drown them.

Most people mist 2 times a day, one in the morning and one at night, but you can lower the maintenance with a bioactive enclosure. You can also try to keep a cup of moss in the enclosure and water it frequently. make sure that its pet safe. I use galapagos reptile moss, it has a green lizard on the bag. I've never had mine get gross, moldy, go bad, etc.

One thing I will add OP, bold jumpers (P audax) are nearly identical to regius in appearance, same personality, etc. But they are a hardier species, they don't need as much humidity, and they are not as picky with food. They even range up into Canada! If this is your first jumper, I would urge you to start with an audax instead of a regius.
