That is generally why they crop the ears on pitbulls though, and I don't know why you'd need a "break stick" for anything else. I definitely agree about the tradmills though, I mean, what if I just want to give my dog some exercise and it's really cold out? Really sad.Oh, you KNOW *I* am a dog fighter because I have a treadmill, break sticks, books on the history of the breed, antibiotics/stitching materials/other vet supplies, a springpole... you know, all that "dog fighting paraphernalia"![]()
Let's not mention that my APBTs are under the command of an 11lb. boston terrier, and our best guard dog is a 12wk saluki puppy :wall:
And OH... any dog with cropped ears "had their ears chopped off with scissors" and any dog with a cut, abrasion or scratch was a "bait dog facing a horrible death, training dogs to kill" :liar:
Sorry.. touchy subject. I will NEVER forgive them for what they did to Patrick's dogs, Floyd's dogs... all those beautiful animals killed for no reason.. entire lines of APBTs wiped out![]()
Don't forget Animal Liberation Front. Those people disgust me.Outstanding video, I thank you for referring us to it. I will surely book mark it for future threads regarding the HSUS, Peta and even the USARK movement!
TBH
NO, actually very few dog-fighters bother cropping ears at all. Ear cropping is done purely for looks and has no practical purpose. While it's true that the gang-bangers and others who want a tough-looking dog crop ears to achieve that goal, it's also very true that dog show people, especially those who show in UKC and VERY much true of those with AKC American Staffordshires. In AKC, you can't get a judge to look at a dog with uncropped ears, even though the standard says "natural ears preferred". Back when I showed dogs, I had their ears cropped(by a vet, of course), but when I got more into hog-hunting, I stopped doing that as it was an unnecessary expense for me.That is generally why they crop the ears on pitbulls though, and I don't know why you'd need a "break stick" for anything else. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Pitbulls at all since most of the ones I've met were quite lovable, I just reall hate dogfighting. Seeing someone let dogs rip eachother apart in the name of entertainment really pisses me off.Don't believe the lies that the AR people shove your way when it comes to APBT's, dog-fighting, ear crops or the like, since very little of it has any actual basis in truth.

yea, i agree its very gross. Only people who have seen a live dog fight will know the feeling, if you enjoy it im sorry for you.Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Pitbulls at all since most of the ones I've met were quite lovable, I just reall hate dogfighting.
