HR669 explain im dumb

i know this is probably off topic i apologize. im new to keeping exoctic pets and ive heard from several people on various forums that HR669 is going to destroy the hobby can someone give me a lamens explaination for why. im terrible at reading legal documents and bills :-D

it's a bill that, if it passes, will outlaw all not native species from being kept in the US. scorpions, tarantulas (apart from the native ones), reptiles, etc.

there are plenty of vids on youtube about it. I don't even live in the US and I'm pi**ed about it.

If the Us is Limited so is the rest of the Hobby no matter where you live the hobby will be less then...Is sucks!!

that bill did not pass. they are currently revising it. there are several reptile and exotic groups that are helping to revise so it will be fair to everyone. and make no mistake the bill will pass but not in its current form. this is a link to another forum with more info.
