Hi guys, sorry for morbid topic.
My sweet clementine has passed away and I want to try and taxidermy her but I don't have the supplies to hand at the moment.
Can I put her in the freezer (and if so, how?) Until I'm ready to taxidermy her?
I'm seeing a lot of conflicting info when researching this.

Freezer is a good option! Wrap the body in paper towels and place in a zip lock bag. It is possible that during the freezing process fluids in the abdomen will expand, but to taxidermy your T you'll need to clean out the abdomen anyway.

I know folks on here don't much like Tarantula Kat/YouTube in general (understandably) but she has one of the best instructional vids I've seen on preserving tarantulas!

Very sorry for your loss. Losing an animal in your care never gets easier, sending you lots of love and virtual hugs!

I put a dead specimen in the freezer and it was preserved perfectly for a taxidermy a year later. Had no issues. I found some threads on here explaining how to do the taxidermy and it went well also.
