You will need: a flashlight, a Lycosidae, and a jar.
Have your Lycosidae in the jar shine the light on the eyes of the spider, if it reflects back, it's a Lycosidae.

Nope. Lycosidae is a large family of ground hunting spider. Eye patterns are very important when identifying. There eyes are often enlarged similar to a salticidae because they use this to capture prey. They can build turrets, burrows, and some even create funnel webs. I don’t know if all but at least many will carry there egg sacs on there spinnerets and let there young sit on there abdomen for the first few instars of life. They carapace shape is also important.

Also if this is meant to identify it just to a wolf spider instead of a different family, this won’t work either. Many species of spider have reflective eyes. A few i have noticed outside at night are fishing spiders and crab spiders

I think i read a study that eyeshine can be quantifiable generally between families, but i think it's easier to look at eye position than to measure reflected lumens off a spiders eyeballs lol

The problem is that many people will not find it as a joke and it can lead to misconceptions.
